Patchnote 0.914.417

Patchnote 0.914.417

Hello there, here is the changelog for the update 0.914.417.

[ Game changes ]

Spring has returned to Dragotaka !

The Valentine event has been added.

Winter event has been removed, however you will still be able to trade the remaining marbles for a bit.

The big wheel and mixboard have been updated.

As an apology for the second maintenance that occurred today, the loot rate for rare items in Hardcore mode dungeons has been doubled until Sunday, March 10th.

Monsters in hard chaos mode in missions will now have a small visual effect below them.

Added an option to trade 250 Eternal Coins (Excos) for a Class Changer. You will find this trade option at the Lucius NPC in Port of the Winds.

The game engine has received various improvements; you can expect a performance uplift of about 20% and some graphics improvements if you're playing on the high or higher preset.

Added an option to trade hardcore accessories/capes/shields for 5/10/10 Hardcore Special Options Randomizers through the exchange menu. These randomizers will only work on Hardcore items, as the name implies, and will randomly change the special options of that item. Items randomized will have a very small chance to receive up to 1.5 times the stats available through loots (up to 2 times for the Sacrificial Bangle).

Please note that due to a bug, the item that will be converted will be the first item with the same name in your inventory. This means you must move the items you do not wish to convert to Hardcore Special Options Randomizers to your vault. This issue will be fixed in a later patch.

Some rewards from the Valentine Event!

[ Quality of Life Improvements ]

New loot will now be shown in the bottom left corner, the same applies for quest updates.

This is the new UI that displays earned loots / quest update details

Removed the limit of 10 trades at once in the exchange menu.

Automatically set to the max amount when using the item exchange menu, however, this does not work with dragging you must left-click the item's icon.

Various improvements have been made to the Devil Soulstone trade menu as well.

Extended the mailbox UI and added a timestamp feature.

The Fast X feature has been improved, it will now be disabled during a combo chain and will be re-enabled if you're spamming X attacks. Additionally, for Sentinels, it will now properly execute the optimal X chain attacks instead of repeating the first attack several times, unlike other classes.

The twin's name will now be shown.

Couple quests have been replaced with weekly quests in the mini quest menu.

Added a ping display at the side of the mini-map.

Chat auto-scrolling down every time a new message is added will no longer happen if the player is attempting to read older messages by scrolling the bar up.

[ Anti-AFK Improvements ]

The anti-AFK system has received various improvements: an AFK player will no longer be able to complete quests or earn experience (this is disabled currently due to the lack of proper alternatives for levelling). Additionally, the AFK detection system has been entirely revamped. An anti-abuse system has also been added in room PvP, preventing players from farming wins without actively playing the game. Due to the rework of the anti-AFK system, it will now function properly in Elga as well as eliminating the previous issues where it would incorrectly flag a player as AFK when they were not in some rare situations.

[ Battle Square Improvements ]

You will now earn double points in the arena if you're in the zone belonging to the opposing team (essentially, the half of the arena that belongs to the opposing team).

The losing side in the Battle Square will receive a damage buff. This buff is based on various criteria, the more the team is losing, the higher the damage buff will be.

You will now earn Sign of Hero in Battlesquare instead of Eternal Coins. One Sign of Hero will be delivered for every 1000 points earned.

You can trade these Signs of Hero to Gerard in Port of the Winds for various items, such as Class Changers. You will find him near the Colin NPC.

That's how he looks like!

Don't miss out on other rewards you can get from Gerard!

Please note that PvE balance changes affect PvP unless clearly specified, however, the reverse is not true.

[ PvE Balance Changes ]

A new Savage Spell, "Celestial Sonata Burst", has been added. "Conjure a symphony of stellar forces to create a gravitational field, drawing enemies near. Unleash a burst of celestial energy, dealing massive damage and stunning them. The higher the level, the bigger the range." Please note that this spell doesn't work in PvP areas.

Savage's passive skill, "Crazy Soul," has been improved. It will now slightly increase the range of your skills for each target you kill. Additionally, it will also improve the damage dealt to normal monsters. The bonus gets reset after changing maps.

Smash Kick is no longer affected by attack speed and can now be used mid-air if fused.

Rising Drop Kick's range has been increased by 45% in PvE only.

Power Fist's range has been increased, and super armor has been added.

Rolling Grapple will hit the target mid-air if the skill is level 5 or higher.

Ghost Fighter's cast time is now 2 seconds.

[ PvP Balance Changes ]

The Savage Headspin skill has been nerfed to hit one less time, making it a finisher rather than a combo starter.

Twins' health has been decreased to 100,000.

Spin Kick locks the target to the ground in PvP mode, but its range has been reduced by 50%. It will, however, push the target less far, affecting both PvP and PvE.

The twin will throw 3 tornadoes at levels 6, 7, and 8, and 4 tornadoes at levels 9 and 10.

Attack speed for the Summoner class in Balanced PvP mode has been increased by 50%.

The "Handy Quest" menu in the top left corner can now be properly disabled, and it won't re-enable itself after a map change or disconnection.

The ability to cancel a push state with a basic attack in PvP is no longer possible (this occurred frequently with the Sentinel's skill, Sharpshooting).
