Patchnote 0.914.400

Patchnote 0.914.400

Due to the omission of a patchnote for the previous update, which was minor, this patchnote will include information about both the current and the previous updates, with that out of the way, here's the changelog for the update 0.914.400!

Additionally, a note before we begin: the ability to change classes is coming soon. So, if you feel that any nerfs or buffs are unjustified, you'll soon have the option to switch to any class you prefer.

Also, I haven't forgotten about the classic mode for the 3D models. This feature, which allows you to switch the Bruce Lee model for a Kung Fu bear, for example, is still on its way!

[ Game changes ]

The guild user interface has been updated to show the last login date of members. Additionally, members who are currently logged in are indicated in green, and all their information is now displayed at once.

Updated guild interface

The friend interface now displays the last login date of friends. Please note that this information might be less accurate compared to the guild interface, as the dates weren't recorded before this patch.

Updated friend interface

The Character Information interface has been updated to display additional information, including air attack damage, back attack damage, X attack damage, damage dealt to regular monsters, and damage dealt to boss monsters.

Additionally, please note that the display order of attack and defense information when viewing other players' details has been swapped to align with the layout of your character information interface.

Updated character interface

A "Balanced Mode" checkbox has been added to the training room. When this box is ticked, the PvP skill tree and PvP settings are enabled, resulting in some spells having different behaviors and ranges. Additionally, a hitbox display option has also been introduced.

Hitbox display setting toggled on

The display of damage originating from the Blastmaster's gear has been improved.

Blastmaster's damage display

The information for Annihilation, Fever, and Harmony buffs is now displayed to the right of the HP bar.

Prior to this patch, possessing a negative critical rate meant zero chance of dealing critical damage. This has been revised: all negative critical rates have been converted to positive values. Now, dealing a critical hit will result in a brutal strike. For example, if you have a -40% critical rate, your chance of dealing a brutal strike is 40%.

The damage formula for a brutal strike, which is calculated differently than a critical hit, is as follows:

This is how a brutal strike is presented in game

Other minor changes :

- A large number of items, such as the Eternity Potion or Commemoration costume, can now be properly stored in the vault.

- Cart mixing has been made faster.

- Players can now grab items from a greater distance, while the item-grabbing ability of pets has been reduced or removed.

- When a player who is being followed initiates an attack, the players following them will automatically stop following.

- Guild quests will now provide experience for the guild starting from level 40, instead of the previous level 70 requirement.

- The Mystic Sigilthread Mantle will now grant a stack upon summoning an entity.

- Monster cards can now be placed on the market or sent via mail.

- The hardcore mode (F8) daily quests have been changed to weekly quests. They will now reward 14 Advanced Soul Craft Randomizers instead of 2. These quests can be accepted remotely. However, instead of completing the dungeon once, players will now need to complete it five times.

-  The Halloween coin trader, Randy, has been relocated to Port of the Winds.

- The Big Wheel and Mixboard have been updated.

[ Emporia changes ]

- The health amount has been reverted to its original state, and players now take ten times less damage than before.

- The duration of the Emporia disconnect debuff has been significantly reduced.

- Map transition times have been reduced, and the invincibility effect during these transitions has been removed.

[ General Bug fixes ]

- A bug where cutscenes would only skip for the party leader has been fixed.

- The stats for Halloween accessories are now correctly applied.

- A bug that caused the cast bar to sometimes disappear has been fixed.

- A bug that enabled Blastmaster gear to kill other players outside of PvP has been fixed.

- A bug that prevented the final critical rate from affecting entities, such as the critical rate granted by "White Tiger Backpack", set bonuses, and "Critical Gambit" accessories, has been fixed. This means all entities now have the correct critical rate values. As a result, players who didn't use "Critical Gambit" have received a significant buff (at least on entites based classes such as Sorcerer and ... Earth Master), while others may experience a nerf.

- Fixed a crash issue related to the Deathstinger skill on the Overlord class.

- The issue with the DPS meter not displaying properly in certain areas, particularly in dungeons, has been fixed.

- Fixed a typo with the Resolute Aegis Cloak; it is now correctly named.

- The Spirit of Grudge in Akia Cavern has had its hitbox size increased.

- The Provoke skill on the Savage class will now correctly hit its intended target.

[ PvP Bug fixes ]

- Fishing Claw and other grab skills like it will now correctly pull the target towards the player as intended.

- The bug that caused your opponent to be thrown in the wrong direction has been fixed.

- The bug that prevented wavedash from properly updating your position on the server has been fixed.

- The bug where catching your target in a specific way (such as Sword Dance, for instance) would not trigger the invulnerability shield after repeated use of the same spell has been fixed.

- In some rare occasions, players were still able to block attacks. This issue has been fixed.

- When using Judge Dread or Spiral Canon to throw an opponent to the ground, the opponent could previously escape instantly. This is no longer possible, as the issue has been fixed.

- Several minor adjustments and slight visual changes have been made as well.

[ General balance changes ]

Warrior

The cooldown for Sword Dance has been adjusted to 7 seconds.

Overlord

The Annihilation skill now provides a massive damage amplification buff, but it comes at the cost of consuming 5% of the player's maximum HP.

The speed of Whirlwind can now be adjusted using the arrow keys.

The cooldown for Raising Storm has been adjusted to 15 seconds.

Invoker

A new skill called "Embrace the Darkness" has been added for the Invoker class.

Embrace the Darkness is a powerful spell that transforms all healing abilities into damage-dealing spells, while also reducing the cast time of all spells by 0.5 seconds. It can only be lifted by the death of the affected person.

Embrace the Darkness showcase

The range of the Detection skill has been significantly improved.

The range of Spark Rock has been increased at all levels.

The range of the Barbarian skill has been improved in PvE, and it can now hit targets both in mid-air and on the ground.

Sentinel

Mines will now explode much more quickly.

Sorcerer

The Meteor Strike spell has been modified so that the player no longer needs to remain immobile for the meteorites to be launched.

Savage

Judge Dread will now stun for 0.6 seconds.

Sonic Boom damage has been doubled.

The speed of Chain Hurricane Kick can now be adjusted using the arrow keys.

Ninja

Violent Blow now has a 100% chance of stunning in PvE.

The Multi Illusion, Ninja's ultimate skill, can now hit more precisely, you may need to group monsters together for optimal results.

Shadow Walk now removes up to 10 seconds of cooldown from your other skills. Additionally, the first hit after becoming invisible will always be a critical hit.

Summoner

Helix Shot now has a cooldown of 3 minutes and lasts for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Additionally, the scaling ratio of health to matk has been adjusted from 45% health to matk to 35% health to matk.

While these changes may appear significant, it's important for players to take into account the buffs related to the Mystic Sigilthread Mantle, which enables summoners to maintain a consistent 45% MATK damage boost. Additionally, the fix for the entity critical rate bug should contribute positively to gameplay balance.
